MaryAnn Gardner is a writer, inspirational speaker, and former teacher. She has spent the past 14 years as a corporate communications professional. She is a graduate of Mount Mercy University, a certified catechist, and a member of the National Marian Catechist Apostolate.

Her community involvement, which includes 17 years as a CCD teacher and teacher-trainer and 20 years as a Scout Leader, worked as an associate volunteer at Sanctuary of Hope, an inner city/inter-faith retreat center in Kansas City, KS.

She is a wife, mother, and grandmother, married since 1970 to Robert. They are members of Prince of Peace in Olathe, KS, a parish in the Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas.
