Why  Do  You  Pray  the  Rosary?

Because [I believe] it is the most powerful          prayer in the          Catholic Church except for the Mass. I am walking into the throne room of God, on His mother’s arm, to make my prayer requests. Jesus did not refuse her at Cana, and will not refuse requests made through her.                         ~Liana

Because it is so versatile: can be recited anywhere, alone, in a group, be sung, spoken, listened to, watched on video, and even prayed on the Internet (Perpetual Web Rosary at http://cul.detmich.com/rosary.html).                  ~Mary Ellen

Because it is a powerful, beautiful prayer. My husband, stricken with Guillain Barre Syndrome, went from healthy to invalid In 24 hours. After weeks hospitalized, his sight was terribly impaired. He promised the Blessed Mother to say a daily rosary. In four months his sight came back. We continue to pray a daily  rosary together. This terrible experience definitely brought our family closer to the Lord and to each other.      ~Kathy Neugebauer
