Wrap Everything in Prayer?

We asked some of you in the Marian Mantle Group (MMG), and this is what you told us:

"The power of a prayer group is a miracle in itself," Vicki says. "The strength to continue even when you can't attend binds one to Jesus and Mary. We look forward to being in the group to feel the power of praying together.

"When I go down my list of emails and come to the MM update, I stop and say a prayer for everyone," says Karen. It is very inspiring!"

"Wrap everything in prayer. What a beautiful statement," says Linda. I use it as a way to help me cope with some of the problems I encounter that I have no control over. [It] makes me think of the crucifix starting with the Father at the top, the two arms folding as the Son and Holy Spirit and finally the legs folded to the middle.

"I read each word [in the online update]," Joyce says. "I pray for each intention. I wish I could say my situation has improved. It hasn’t. But, I don't feel so alone and hopeless. [the MMG] gives me new strength in praying for my family."

"There is power in prayer," Mary Ann writes," and the more people praying sincerely, the more powerful it is. If I have many things to pray for, this means that I wrap all my petitions in one prayer saying, ‘God, You know all I have in my mind, so please consider it all wrapped together and I will let go and let Your Will be done.’ "

"I think this is a great thing. I've not been a part of this for long, but I await what the Holy Spirit will let happen here," Barbara says. "So many sad stories, but with the power of prayer, we know happy things happen. I thank God I found Marian Mantle."

"Praying together indeed gives hope. It’s a reminder that we as a church, are also a spiritual family. In our need we turn to our loved ones," says Sam from Australia. "Our group enables people to come together in prayer and support, no matter what part of the world the members are in. Padre Pio reminds us that prayer is the greatest force in the world. MMG facilitates the coming together in prayer under the loving guidance of the Virgin Mary. There are many times when one feels like giving up., but, seeing the strength and hope of others joined in prayer creates renewed hope that God can touch the heart of the prodigal. The collapse of the family unit is a very common problem around the world. Children grow up and lose their faith. This group answers the need to fight against this trend.

I would have given up a long time ago were it not for something like the MMG. My prayers are not answered yet; but, I have hope and faith as I pray with others around the world.

When asked about the value of the online group that prays together through email updates, Carole said: "People are hurting out here. We need each other. We need to know others care. God loves us all and loves the hearts of those who are touched in this group.

Is it working? Of course it is! My daughter and family are attending church regularly now. Just three more families to go! It WILL happen with prayer. God is faithful. "Where two or more are gathered in His name," includes being gathered online. Together, we must keep up the good work--or should I say, the GOD inspired work. ♥
