Marian Mantle Prayer Group Update For June 15, 2007

**************************************************

++MESSAGE FROM THE COORDINATOR

Hi, Everyone,

Praise God, the newsletter will be mailed today!  Thanks to all who helped in any way—contributors of articles, postage, and donations to cover paper and printer cartridges, and those who volunteered to help in folding, labeling, etc.  All your help makes it possible for us to continue to send the newsletter every six months.  We are most grateful to God for you.

I am beginning to receive emails with notice of masses that have requested to be said in your parishes during the month of September in honor or Our Lady of Sorrows Feast Day (Sept 15) and in petition for the return of prodigal Catholics to the practice of the Faith.  Thanks again to the Hutchinson Kansas prayer groups for suggesting this special way to thank Our Lady and ask her continued intercession for our prodigals.  Won’t you consider doing the same in your parish? If you will let me know when your mass is scheduled I will add it to the list on the web site and send you a pack of cards with the Prayer to Our Lady of Sorrows for the Return of Prodigals to share with those who attend that day.  Wouldn’t it be a great thing to have masses said across the USA and around the world for this intention during the month of September this year?

I ask for your prayers for my family for a special intention this month.  Also, if you are thinking about attending my talk at the ACCW convention in Tonganoxie, Kansas in August, please contact me so I can give you more information.  That talk will begin at 10:45am on August 25.

Have a great week ahead.  I look forward to hearing your feedback on the newsletter after you read it.

May we all look forward to the day when we can say with great joy, “The child for whom I have prayed, has come home!”

Peace,

MaryAnn

GOD'S WORD FOR US

Faith is the realization of what is hoped for and evidence of things not seen.  But without faith it is impossible to please him, for anyone who approaches God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.   ~Hebrews 11:1,6

WORDS OF HOPE

When obstacles and trials seem

Like prison walls to be

I do the little I can do

And leave the rest to Thee.

And when there seems no chance, no change

From grief can set me free,

Hope finds its strength in helplessness

And calmly waits for Thee.

~From The Will of God (PD)
