THE MANTLE [Please send your prayer requests to pray@marianmantle.com or maryann@marianmantle.com] Marian Mantle Prayer Group Update For June 15, 2007 ************************************************** ++MESSAGE FROM THE COORDINATOR Hi, Everyone, I apologize that this is so late in getting to you. We have been out of town for several days. Mea culpa! We should be mailing out the newsletter during the first week or two in July. Please email your postal address today if you have not done so. The prayer groups in Hutchinson Kansas have come up with an exciting idea in which they invite all of us to participate. The month of September is dedicated to Our Lady of Sorrows. They have planned a special way to thank Our Lady and ask her continued intercession for our prodigals by arranging for masses to be said in each of Hutchinsons three Catholic churches on the weekend of September 15, the Feast of Our Lady of Sorrows. They invite you to consider joining with your prayer group, or as an individual, to request a mass be said in your parish for the return of prodigal Catholics. If Sep. 15th doesnt work, arrange for the mass to be said sometime during the month of September. Lets all join together and invoke Our Ladys intercession in a special way during September. Some may even wish to pray a special rosary together after mass that day. Let me know when your mass is scheduled and I will post it on our web site and send you a pack of cards with the Prayer to Our Lady of Sorrows for the Return of Prodigals to share with those who attend. May we all look forward to the day when we can say with great joy, The child for whom I have prayed, has come home! Peace, MaryAnn

+Our Lady of
Sorrows, pray for us and for our children.
.. "For thus says the Lord GOD: Behold, I, I myself will search for my sheep, and will seek them out. As a shepherd seeks out his flock when some of his sheep have been scattered abroad, so will I seek out my sheep; and I will rescue them from all places where they have been scattered on a day of clouds and thick darkness. I will seek the lost, and I will bring back the strayed, and I will bind up the crippled, and I will strengthen the weak, and the fat and the strong I will watch over; I will feed them in justice. ~ Ezekiel 34: 11 - 12, 16 .. WORDS OF HOPE
Sacred Heart of Jesus, I place my trust in Thee.
